Resveratrol and Wine: Is the Health Connection for Real?

Resveratrol WIne

For years we've been told it would be beneficial to our health to drink wine. It may seem strange now, but for a long time many people thought it might be the alcohol itself in some wine that was responsible for the health benefits. They were definitely wrong.

So what the latest studies have shown is that the major health benefits are actually coming from the resveratrol.

By the way, in a second I'm going to show you why drinking wine in order to get the benefits of resveratrol is a dangerous way to go about things.

For example, if you'd like to know how to get resveratrol into your system without having to do damage to your body by drinking massive amounts of alcohol, then check out this resveratrol and wine article.

I really can't stress just how vital this is. So please check it out.

First, let's discuss what resveratrol is, and what its relationship is to wine.

So finally we know what it is in the wine that is responsible for things like the French Paradox and other mysteries relating to how people who eat a less than ideal diet still manage to remain largely free of the kinds of diseases and health problems that afflict so many Americans.

It wasn't known until very recently that resveratrol was as powerful as it is. Resveratrol can be about 50 times more powerful than even vitamin C, and many believe that it even protects against things like cancer and slows down the aging process.

Excellent stuff. Now, the only real drawback to resveratrol is that you have to drink lots of wine as we mentioned above. The reason why is because you have to drink so much wine to get enough resveratrol. While this may sound like fun, the amount that you have to drink would quickly lead to other health problems that even resveratrol couldn't solve.

When it comes right down to it, all of that alcohol that you have to drink will basically counteract the benefits of the resveratrol. Your body has to work extra hard to remove the toxicity associated with the alcohol you're drinking. And when that happens, it's pretty obvious that you're probably doing more harm than good, even if you are getting a decent amount of resveratrol in the bargain.

Earlier I said that we'd go over some of the ways to get resveratrol safely, so let's get to that now. So keep in mind that you should be trying to find sources of resveratrol that don't include alcohol. So you should understand that in order to get enough resveratrol, you'd have to drink too much wine for it to do any good. So, this is what I would do...

Right now, go see this Resveratrol and Wine site, where you'll get videos that show the best sources for resveratrol. And maybe the best part is that you don't have to drink alcohol.
